Join MnCMN for a Learning Exchange exploring ideas from the Harvard Business Review On Leadership episode, “What Actually Works to Change Someone’s Mind,” featuring Wharton professor Jonah Berger, author of The Catalyst.

During the session, we’ll play a few short clips to ground the conversation, then shift quickly into a structured, peer-led discussion focused on practical application: what helps people move when they feel resistant, uncertain, or stuck, and what language and tactics actually work in real change efforts.

What to expect:

  • Short podcast clips + quick framing of the key ideas
  • Small-group discussion to apply the ideas to real scenarios
  • Share-outs and a captured set of “moves that worked” from the room

What to bring:
One real situation where you need movement (a stuck decision, stakeholder resistance, stalled adoption, or a message that isn’t landing).

You’ll leave with:

  • A simple way to name what’s getting in the way of change
  • Practical tactics to reduce resistance without steamrolling people.
